Pet Stroller Buying Tips

October 28, 2009

As with anything in life it is very easy to make an impulse buying decision only to regret it later.  How many times have you bought something only to find out a couple of weeks later you could have found a more suitable alternative if you’d have only shopped around a bit?

If you’re looking for a pet stroller for example surely that can’t be hard can it?  Don’t be so sure.  First of all pet strollers are made for different pets.  Most commonly the dog stroller but you can also purchase cat strolles and I’ve even seen one for a rabbit!

So what are the options?  What has to be taken into account?

What size is your pet?  This is not just about weight but height and width.  You don’t want to purchase a dog pet stroller only to find out your pet can’t get comfy in it.

What type of terrain do you want to cover?  The sidewalk, park or something a little more adventurous.  There is such a thing as the all terrain stroller you know.

Some strollers, such as the Kittywalk pet stroller line, come with detachable components and can convert to car seats.  These can be particularly beneficial if you need to transport your pet by vehicle to and from the park for example.

Are you the type of person that likes to take your pet out no matter what the weather.  Perhaps they don’t share your enthusiasm in which case a stroller with built in all weather protection can be a deal maker.

We hope you got a few useful tips from this article and that if you’re looking to buy a pet stroller you’ll check out our store.
